Attaching door handles and mirrors to clear coat

Q-2: When do you apply things like door handles and mirrors? Will they actually glue to the clear?

Ken-2: Attach all that little stuff after you clear coat and polish the body. This will prevent the little exterior details from getting knocked off.

Many modelers attach these pieces with “clear” but you can also use a tiny dab of super glue, making sure none oozes out from beneath the part and ruins the paint. Another option is to use a canopy glue, used by aircraft modelers, or similar clear adhesive like Microscale’s Kristal Klear.
