Seatbelt material

Tip: Here’s an easy way to acquire seat belt material from our wives’ clothing. My wife purchased some tops that have clothes-hanger straps attached to them so they can be properly secured on a hanger. She asked me to cut them out for her, because these hanger straps drive her nuts while wearing the tops.
I removed them, and found they are perfect replicas for 1/24 and 1/25 seat belt material.

The pieces I trimmed are more than a foot in length each (two per top) and approximately 3/16 inch wide – enough for several seat belts. I now ask my wife to buy the blouses that have seat belt material in them when she goes shopping!

Thanks for the great tips and magazine. Keep up the good work.
