Painting raised tire lettering

RELATED TOPICS: TIRES
Tired of those old ABBA CDs? Now you can finally put them to good use: to paint the raised lettering on tires. It couldn't be simpler.

Brush a wet coat of white paint (or whatever color you prefer for tire lettering) onto the "business" side of an old CD. While it's still wet, press the sidewall of the tire straight down into the paint, and then lift it straight up.

Because the surface of the CD is hard and flat, the paint will only be transferred to the raised letters on the tire. It works perfectly, every time.

Best of all, when the paint dries, you won't have to listen to a CD you don't like anymore.

Ken: I knew those ABBA discs would come in handy for something someday. Thanks for detailing our tires, and saving our ears.
