Using Easy-Off on plastic

RELATED TOPICS: PLASTIC | CHROME | PAINT
Q: How long do I leave Easy-Off on plastic to remove paint and chrome plating?

- Paul Aquino
Largo, Florida

Ken: Typically, Paul, if it hasn't started to lift the paint in 24-36 hours, wash it off and resort to some of the information given in the above answer. If the Easy-Off is doing the job, you still may have to scrub stubborn crevices and thick spots with an old toothbrush, then coat the surface with Easy-Off again until the paint (or chrome plating) disappears.

There's no set time for any of this, though; you'll have to play it by ear.
