Removing glue residue

Q: I used Frisket stencil paper to mask a custom paint job. I sprayed the first color coat, let it dry, laid on the Frisket stencils, then painted the top color coat. When I peeled the Frisket, some of the adhesive stuck to first layer of paint. How can I get that off without ruining the entire paint job? By the way, I was using Dupli-Color lacquer.
