Diecast Reviews
September 2012
Got a thing for diecast? Scale Auto’s own diecast specialist and associate publisher, Mark Savage, keeps you in-the-know with fun, insightful reviews of the latest diecast models.

More about Mark — our "Duke of Diecast": Mark is a writer, editor, and avid car nut. He got his first Matchbox car at age 4 (and still has it), along with a basement full of diecast, much to his wife's horror. A journalist for 35+ years, he also has written a car review column, Savage on Wheels, for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel since 1989 and is associate publisher of Scale Auto and three other magazines at Kalmbach Publishing. An Indianapolis native, Savage has written about diecast cars and slot cars for various hobby magazines and is a devoted Indy 500 fan. Although he doesn't bleed 10W40, he does have a thing for cars and that's why we call him our Duke of Diecast! If you have questions about diecast model cars, you can contact him at msavage@kalmbach.com.
